It almost feels half finished, unfair difficulty, shitty platforming, shitty combat where you, super powered mutant, go one on one with regular goons, each time like you’re fucking fighting for the heavy weight championship.
You’re claws are neutered to hell and are nothing more than slightly tougher boxing gloves.
It’s obnoxious, unclear, just awful in almost every way.
It is slightly charming, the voice acting and character designs are cool, but that’s literally it.
You don’t feel like Wolverine, you feel like a state of the emergency character running around punching people in the face.
AAAAND you don’t have sex with one woman in the entire game. 0/10
Shitty shitty game.

I read this in Adam Sessler’s voice
My pick is the PS1 spawn game. Total trash.
I loved this game when i was in highschool, don’t remember much of it, only that there was some weird weapon x monsters in a lab stage.
I see you’ve never played Superman 64.
How it feels to go for the platinum trophy for Crash Bandicoot 4
This cover just gave me ptsd of throwing my controller and crying and then my older cousin coming in and beating levels easily
I saw it but never played it.
What about in your unnaturally born life?
I just replayed it recently. It was very hard. But I think it’s a serviceable action game from that era. Plus Hamil as Wolverine is great.
I played it back in the day, but I have a vague memory of it, I didn’t know it was so bad
Boy it’s a good thing you never played that one Tiny Toons game on the PS1.
Now ya gotta go play Wolverine Origins on the ps3/360. It’s a fantastic hack n slash god of war style game. A little repetitive but it’s really fun and over the top with gore. It’s honestly surprisingly violent which is great because it fits Wolverine perfectly.
Also ive gotta recommend the Ghost Rider ps2 game as well. Same deal as Wolverine Origins. It’s a really fun God of War clone. The combat is excellent and Blade is an unlockable character with his own unique moveset. Theres also Motorcycle combat in some stages. It’s not groundbreaking stuff but it never overstays it’s welcome and spices up the game with some variety.
Thank you Kanye very cool

maybe you were looking for “*Custer’s* Revenge” instead and got mixed up
Yeah i saw that mildpulp video too
I never beat Magneto
It was the first game I ever got given for my pc
Why are you playing this game in 2024?
I had it on the Nintendo Gamecube. This and the Scorpion King game felt kind of the same. Combat was not very enjoyable and I spent the bulk of my time wandering around trying to figure out where I was meant to go.
Most of those games were garbage lmao, I remember playing the punisher, terminator another one of one those X-Men games and Van Helsing, they had decent starts but the game play after a while became really bad , you only have fun for like 2 hours
There’s an obscure Marvel game that almost nobody knows about. Also for the PS2. It’s called Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. Find it, play it, then report back with how frustrating it is. The game doesn’t have a lock-on button and the enemies attack you while you’re down.
You can say shit here. Nobody’s going to tell on you.
The other game was fire
X-Men Origins: Wolverine on PS3 & Xbox 360 is the best Wolverine game I’ve ever played.
It’s odd how good the game is considering the movie it’s based on is shit.
It wasn’t thaaaaaat frustrating. I do remember having a much easier time with it with my claws retracted though. I also remember having to wait around waiting on the insanely slow healing factor a lot too though. That was a pretty unfortunate design decision.
If they took a true set up like Punisher, 50 Cent bulletproof, or just an already really good map design this game could have been so cool.
What did you expect from a licensed game? A masterpiece? Of course it’s going to have its rough patches. I will say that the story is at least interesting. The cover art makes it look like your typical movie tie-in, but it follows more closely to the comics than the movies made around that time. That’s a definite point in its favour. Just wish it had a little more polish.
I saved up as a kid and spent all my money on this. It taught me that some games are bad.
