My hot take is if idiots want to pay real money for in game cash I will gladly take it off them with a rusty mosin. In terms of a case and a keycard sure it’s pretty lame but any tarkov vet knows as long as you can bring in a few keys(by default AB you get a keyring with 3 slots) a case is just bonus. None of my best runs were because I had stuff in my case in tarkov. It’s when you off a player that has a 30 slot backpack full of stuff.
At the end of the day it’s lame but BSG is just as bad if not worse. EOD turned out to be a scam and they only partially walked that back due to insane outage. Im sure they are currently planning their next scummy move. Not to mention that AB somehow runs and plays better than tarkov? BSG takes over a year to release a mediocre map and then 2-3 years to “re work” it, and it will still run like shit. Not to mention AB seems to have a bunch of QoL stuff that tarkov still somehow doesn’t have. I do hope they walk back some of the monetization but imo it really doesn’t effect me.
I’ve been running full armour and gear every round in AB and I’m still up 200k from where I started so making money doesn’t seem like it’s harder or anything and that’s with no case or fancy keycard or even valuable keys for that matter I’m only level 10 or something.
