This Game is like watching a train-crash in real time.

I still kind of hate the design choice they went for. Just too cartoony, clone warsish, when all the previous entries were pretty gritty which suited the content more imo. That said I’ve enjoyed all of the dragon ages, even the more divisive ones, so I will definitely be playing this.

  3. Hope theres advanced character creator cause default one looks so… basic?

  4. Look how they massacred Morrigan wtf 💀

  5. Individual_Repeat_24

this years Game of year is going to be awesome. We have dragons dogma 2, final fantasy rebirth and dragon age veilguard.

Hope those excited after waiting so long enjoy it!

I personally won’t be playing. The decade between Inquisition and now (and honestly just the whole progression since Origins) has not been kind to my interests in the franchise. It’s not the IP for me anymore.

It’s gonna be bugged all to hell on release. I guarantee it.

    Remember. No pre-orders.

I’m excited even if it’s different. The last BioWare game I really count was Andromeda, which wasn’t great. Inquisition was a decade ago. Ready to hop back into the universe.

I’m getting pretty tired of soft, cartoon like art styles.

I’ll pass since EA is top tier shit company. but as a lover of other dragon age titles. this trailer looks a bit underwhelming? art style feels so off like a discount BG3. the cut scenes look good but those sword fights look awful animation

I’ll probably get downvoted to hell for this but, am I the only one that’s *supremely* **unexcited** for this game? I feel like this is a major step back, from everything that the series was until now. The soft, cartoony graphics make it seem less serious, they’re trying to set a serious tone and give us a sense of finality, but I’m just not feeling it. I can’t take it seriously and I’m just so unimpressed with what I’ve seen.

Obviously I want to see all my fav characters return and see a resolution to the wider DA story, but I just don’t feel like this is it and I’m so so upset. I’m going to wait for reviews and I hope for the fandom’s sake it’s better than it looks.

  12. Looks pretty cool, but I can’t stand those overly polished, cookie-cutter face models

  13. TheDeityApollo

Looks like it’s time for me to finally finish Inquisition

  14. FairyKnightTristan

    Didn’t expect Morrigan to return.

Definitely looks better then the first trailer they showed.

  15. BatarianPreacher

Meh. I really wanted to be excited for this game, but with the ridiculous reveal trailer and the dissapointing gameplay reveal, my hopes for this franchise are the lowest they’ve ever been.

With how busy the city scenery looks I cannot imagine it being more then a glorified walking hallway. Nice to look at, but ultimately just walking in a line

Couple fun easter eggs in this teaser, possible spoilers ahead.

Unless they are subverting expectations, we see Falon’Din at 2:12

The God at 2:15 is likely Mythal being returned.

The God at 2:30 is likely Elgar’nan, given at 2:32 that is definitely Solas as Fen’Harel attacking him.

Which then adds up because the ending at 2:43 we see Elgar’nan and Mythal together (They’re the coupled counterparts that lead the Elven Pantheon)

Just a reminder to not preorder video games. They’re not going to run out of digital copies.

  19. BitterJD

Inquisition felt high fantasy. I can’t feel like I’m IN a world like Veilguard… or the newest Zelda games for that matter.

  20. notKomithEr

give us more summer games, summer is so fvckin boring

  21. siralmasy

I would be down for dragon age origins remake, other than that no thanks

  22. AzzyIzzy

So is there plans for another expansive pre world checjlist for events like da:i? Like picking what happened at the end of certain events, who is banging who, and so on?

I was sold with da:i, but so much less so now for veilguard. But id feel like a hypocrit if i didnt try it, i had argues the more streamlined smooth team combat from da:i was an affordable loss for how bland 1/5th of the maps were. However, while combat looks “smooth” in what has been shown, it feels like a huge loss only controlling your character now.

Morrigan is back and I am excited. This game looks genuinely exciting to me.

  24. DiscoDanSHU

My expectations are through the floor. Let’s see if they can even reach em.

  25. DaviidVilla

I’m a idiot and love Dragon Age so i’ll buy this day 1 but i’m not expecting it to be good

  26. JerbearCuddles

I’ve never been so nervous about a release of a game from a property I like. I really hope it doesn’t suck.

  27. Low_Hanging_Fruit71

The art style is so off putting…

  28. greencrusader13

I don’t know why, but something just isn’t clicking for me with this one. I want to be excited, I’ve loved all of the other games in the series, but I can’t seem to get much more than cautiously optimistic at best.

I hope I’m wrong and it does phenomenally.

  29. DoubleShot027

Looks like a fortnight rpg. Why are the characters so ugly?

  30. Mark_Luther

I still don’t really care for the cartoonish character models, but the environments look great.

I do like what I’ve seen so far, but I’ll remain neutral with expectations. Though I understand the reddit standard is to say everything sucks and always will suck.
