“zombies is an arcade shooter and you shouldn’t have to learn how to point farm, train, or do convoluted easter egg steps to turn on power, you should just turn your brain off and kill zombies!” Dead ops arcade:

I’m actually in agreement with the statement you’re rebuking in your meme post. Zombies was at its best before the Easter eggs took over. I dont want to do a bunch of convoluted shit tied to the Easter eggs just to turn on pack a punch.
Let the Easter eggs exist and be rewarding without integrating it into basic progression tied to the map.
Let power be a single switch again.
Zombies is at its best when it’s simple and basic.

Nah, basic mechanics like power, perks, and PaP shouldn’t be locked behind tedious convoluted quests.
They don’t need to be easy, but you shouldn’t need an outside guide just to upgrade a weapon that you could do fairly simple in older maps just fine.

Turning on power and pap shouldnt be complicated, but the game can still have a skill gap. I dont understand why there can never be a middle ground. Why does the game have to either be overcomplicated or oversimplified? The best games are easy to pick up and understand but hard to master. This is why pre-bo3 zombies will always reign supreme. They nailed this so well. Zombies shouldnt be a “mindless” game per se, but it also shouldnt be stressful
