Translation of the article:
"Long story short: the developer Game Science rejected our request for a review code—and as far as we know, that of virtually all media in the Netherlands. The company states that they won't be receiving any additional review codes before or after the game's release, but they will notify us if that situation changes.
For now, it seems that we will have to purchase the game ourselves upon release to still be able to post a timely review for you, should that be feasible. In the meantime, an article on Journey to the West, the Chinese story on which Black Myth and many other games, anime, and media are based, will be published.
It's not often that no review codes are available for a game of this caliber, so we wanted to update you on the situation. If we do get the chance to review the game, which is scheduled for release on August 20th, we will certainly let you know."

It’s because Dutch people are notorious for being straightforward and direct and would have destroy this bad game for sure 😂
tl;dr “We didn’t get free stuff QQ”
Everyone, stop what you’re doing! Stop the elections! Stop paying your rent! Netherlands didnt get review codes! /s
Sorry but that’s not that serious. I’m sure the Netherlands market is tiny compared to NA and Asia so they probably didn’t want to bother with that.
Farting on a game and covering it with a blanket is not a review.
What do they mean they’re not going to get any more review codes? They made the damn game… lol.
Like I get it, its not quite as simple as “hit button, get code” (though I suspect its pretty close), but it’s not a good look IMO.
I would not be shocked if this was part of a larger blackballing of the Netherlands by China as part of the whole chip making kerfuffle.
There’s only two things I hate in this world: people who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and the Dutch.
Good.
Oh no, a company has to buy a copy to review a game.
