I just did this the other day and what I did was one hand pushing them in the front and one finger through the back of the case where the cables run to help line up the plug. Also I would unplug it from the PSU and keep the entire cable inside the front until you have it plugged in so the bend in the cable is not resisting you from lining it up. Once they are plugged in it’s easy to flip them and pull them through the back. Or you can remove the fan but I never do that.

If you can get enough slack. You hover the cable over the receptacle and insert it with your pointer finer. If it’s two separate 4 pins you stack them correctly and hold them together with thumb and middle finger on the cable strands and then insert with pointer finger. The easy way is to remove the fan.

Whatever genius decided to put these 8pin psu power connectors on every motherboard there is a real jerk. I have large hands when I am doing something like this, I would most likely plug in the cables first then put the mb in (probably mostly if working with modular psu). Or I would pull that fan, which is almost certainly your best option now.

Why don’t you just remove the fan? Should give you some more room.
