I always love articles like this, they’re basically nonsense articles because it’s like…yeah, sure, great another Fallout game, fantastic. But…do yall realize how long the dev time is for them?
And consider “would” almost always means “aren’t” which means even more waiting time to conceptualize the game and hire etc. etc.
They’ve been making articles like this since what feels like after Fallout 4 dropped and yet…here we are. Soooo long later. We have F76 and Starfield aaaaaand that’s it.

I want FNV2 as much as anyone, but it’s mot likely to happen, and modern Obsidian is not the same as the team that made FNV.

I don’t see the hype over this guy. I spent more time playing 3 than NV and I definitely enjoyed 4 a lot more too.
Then they made Outer Worlds and I didn’t even bother playing half of it because it just felt, eh.

My friends uncle who works at Bethesda told me this time the whole United States and points of interest will randomly procedurally generated for 10 times the content and realism, and never the same play through!

I’ll believe it when I see it. I’ve lost a lot of faith in Xbox over the years, the Xbox team seems to think buying publishers/studios without proper management is a solid strategy. Redfall’s failure happened because of lack of management and they’re still not willing to change. Tango Gameworks got sold thankfully, but it was almost shut down and then they had the audacity to say they still wanted to acquire new studios to make new IPs.
Idk what’s going on with Xbox but they really need to get their act together.

Knew someone at Obsidian. Bethesda fucked them hard apparently. The people are still down but Bethesda doesn’t want an outside company involved again and even if they did Obsidian would make a disappointing amount of money.
