    Let the LM sit for a while, swirl it around and then clean it with 90+% Alcohol. Repeat until all the solder is gone.

    I’m not sure but it looks like some kind of Silicium-Gallium diffusion that happens to Copper.
    But 13-14gen should use Indium alloys that don’t have that issue, as far as I know.

    Anyway, I recommend to watch derbauer videos, he had ton of information about delidding and liquid metal, few weeks ago he had video about almost same problem as you have.
