Stuff like this was mind-blowing at the time.
Old school Blizzard cinematics were something else. Still hold up today. Pure nostalgia hit.
I was playing a 40K coop board game just yesterday with my family, stuck in the narrow corridors of a space hulk fighting tyranids and we actually mentioned that cutscene as we were being overrun !
It really embodied that spirit of old school militaristic sci-fi movies so well. Love that cutscene, I should replay the SC1 campaign at some point.
Oh wow this brings me right back to those days playing it for the first time.

These guys took atmosphere to another level.
One of the most anticipated things when booting up a new blizzard games were the mind blowing cinematics. never in our minds did we believe games could actually look like this at the time.
It is it’s own movie, it’s called Aliens.
