Presumably the main crew are gonna functionally work like MP operators. There’s footage of Maya running around in a MP match so I assume you can select them in the operator menu. The main difference, of course, being that they have interactive dialogue with each other.

Basically, you can pick any operator or the main crew (I’m at least 99% sure you may as well get to pick which individual of the 4 to play as).

It would be weird if it allowed players to pick multiples of the same character. I hope once one is chosen its locked for others

Probably, since you can also play as an Operator, it’s likely a choice split into 2 categories, Story and Strike Team (guessing the name).
I doubt it will be random, if it was it’d be stupid since it’d mean you have no choice in story characters but do have a choice with operators.

Fairly certain that we should be able to select a set crew character the same way a standard operator would be selected but that does raise the question of what happens with multiple selections. In Cold War you could literally run a lobby with four of the same character and it wouldn’t make a difference. I wonder how that’s going to work in BO6 with the set crew?

They are just going to be operators that we select which sucks because it will be confusing to those who do not know who the cannon crew are. They should make something to where it’s easy to know/auto locks the crew unless you manually select an operator.

If it works like in WWII, you won’t be able to have 2 of the same character in the same lobby, but that only applies to the main crew, not operators. So whoever gets in the lobby and chooses first has the advantage of being able to pick any of the 4. I’m curious to see 3arc approach here.

On the official call of duty news page it says ” for the richest story experience, you’ll want to choose your Operator crew from Grigori Weaver, Elizabeth Grey, Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver, and Maya Aguinaldo – the dedicated crew of characters featured throughout Black Ops 6 Zombies’ storyline.” This sounds like we will have a choice. (Hopefully)

Im really hoping so. I am going to be so mad if they bring the roulette system back. Constantly starting and quitting the game is a horrible experience.

That would be a good feature, just like how you can choose your character in WW2 zombies and BO4 zombies (I think, I can’t remember)
