Well if it’s real that would be great. Playing on emulators was so painful at times to the point I gave up.

I mean.. sure.. but why now? I can’t imagine a lot of people are hyped now compared to back in the day. Don’t get me wrong, great game but… it’s been ages now. Oh and if it’s someone other than R* making the pc version, I expect GTA definitive edition levels of bullshittery and frankly poor levels of quality.
Nice, getting downvoted for pointing out that the last remake from Rockstar was a dumpster fire because they outsourced it. Reddit making 0 sense yet again.

I wish they would have put RDR1 into RDR2 as a dlc like they almost certainly wanted to based on the fact that almost the entire map of the first game is in the second game, but it is just dead space with absolutely nothing there except empty map.

I just started playing it sometime ago on emulator…my luck lol

Too bad its not a remaster. Is it? Guessing not.

If they phone at home like they did the GTA trilogy it’s not going to be worth it. Same as if they just increase resolution without touching the textures. It already looks fine *if you play it on PC* with enhanced resolution lighting and AA. They need to do more so it’ll be worth it. Undead Nightmare needs to be bundled, there’s no reason it should be gated behind DLC.

Replaying it again on Switch and it’s such a gem. Arguably my favorite over RDR2. It stills holds up incredibly well to this day.

That’s the most cryptic way of announcing a port I’ve ever seen.

I’ve been a staunch defender of Rockstar for the longest time. They feel like one of the few companies that are actually trying to push games further. But having official confirmation that there was GTA V DLC that was scrapped for online really hurt. I mean I know that was always the narrative but it always felt like Rockstar knew that making a strong base would allow them to profit off the extras.
Hearing about the cancelled GTA DLC made me really believe that they intended to make RDR in the RDR2 engine as a DLC or add on. Why bother doing so much work for Mexico and spaces they never used. It would seem easy (relatively speaking) having the assets for a lot of what they need on top of the map. Character models, Voice actors, etc.
I’m not too worried about GTA 6 at this point, just due to legacy and what is expected. But I have a feeling that the cracks are going to start showing for Rockstar as a company in general, especially sans the Housers

I have to admit that Undead Nightmare sounds damn interesting!
