The Total Cost is more than my car

Gotto love someone looked at this and was like “what steps do I need to take to get *this*?”

Likely a lot of programming work as well as electrical work (mainly on PCBs and such)

  4. I would upgrade that 5600g and 1080 before getting secondary stuff like that

  5. machinationstudio

Start with learning an Arduino, would be my guess.

War simulator bros are something else.

  7. The controls aren’t too crazy. Just a few programmable mini boards that will convert the imputs of the switches, potentiometers from some old arcade parts and a modified racing wheel to something the game will recognize.

As for the mechanical auto ejecting cannon, with gas propulsion? A degree in engineering.

This is the kind of thing where if you have to ask, it’s way beyond your skill level

    Imagine doing all of this

Just to play the world of tanks. Could have at least chosen war thunder or battlefield

Well first up, looks like you gotta get 2 friends together.

When you figure out how to do that, lmk.

Well you be a smoke machine too… short burst after a shell is shot. And butt kickers to shake the table during fire.

Honestly I don’t think it will be to difficult, war thunder natively supports wheels, so the steering wheel is easy, you make the thing to turn the tank cannon like a wheel (you could even take a cheap wheelbase and make a adapter to use that was the wheel then set it under the table and have it stick up through a hole) the cannon is honestly cosmetic effect I guarantee the button is just what fires and you just set that button to be a certain keyboard key then bind that key to fire in war thunder, if you wanna get complicated you have a sensor in the canon and a spring, I’d do it by wrapping the soda bottles in reflective tape where the label goes then have a lil laser sensor that tests for reflection, or have them push something down that completes a circuit. Then if the button is pushed and the circuits complete it fires, either mechanically or electronically you have it drop a lil piece of whatever material that has a spring and a flat piece of material sized to the hole in front of it so when the button is hit the spring pushes the bottle out, when you push the bottle in it pushes the spring back and the thing pops up that holds the thing that pushes the bottle out when the button is locked in place and badda boom.
It makes 0 sense but it isn’t to complicated if you properly cheese it
Welp now I know what I’m doing with my spare arduinos and Pi’s

If your serious I’ll happily draw up some sketches in auto desk to make more sense

man i love this video, that should definitely become the new standard gaming set up for all of the world of tanks players out there.
