yeah it has been a hassle to get it working properly. would be nice if we don’t have to go trough that again in the future.

Bethesda: “Well, if we push Elder Scrolls 6 back 2 years to 2041, we can maaaybe find time to chase this wave of interest in Fallout with a slapdash new Fallout game by 2032!”

I really want to play the mod, but my Fallout 4 already has like 200 mods installed in a delicate balance, I would love if they could find some way for me to have my cake and eat it too.

I’d give the mod a few months… The world is beautifully built, and incredibly impressive in this regard, but even if this fixes most of the crashing, the other bugs are still rampant…
1) Settlers ‘unsettling’ themselves if you assign them to scavenge. Will stay in settlement but population count drops and they don’t appear to produce anything
2) Quest triggers broken. Quest triggers broken everywhere. NPCs that you can just open conversation with ‘So are you gonna vote for this guy or what?’ before I even know who the guy is, why there is a vote, or who I am even talking to. Quests that cannot be completed.
3) Crafting. Crafting requirements that aren’t shown on screen, so you have no idea why you can’t create certain things. Mystery screw requirement. Weapon mods that seemingly have no mod (can’t craft anything in that mod slot).
4) Named characters that have no dialogue. Not just generic dialogue, just no dialogue. You can trigger ‘Talk’ with them, but nothing happens. No pop up to say ‘This character is busy’ or ‘This character can’t talk to you right now’, so you have no idea if you’re accidentally breaking a quest by talking to someone too early and thus they have no dialogue, or the dialogue is just broken.
5) Linearity. The mod is not good for people that just like to drop the main quest and immediately go explore a cool world. Certain places just have local effects that kill you. Certain places (areas of the actual map, not just locations) aren’t able to be reached without quests. You can very, very easily break multiple quest lines by following basic logic ‘These guys don’t like me, so why don’t I go over here and kill a bunch of them…. oh shit what are these 4 quests I just failed???’
