I wonder if cards at that cost come with direct support.
I know sometimes really expensive stuff like this comes with close support. Maybe reduced cost is the card alone? Sometimes you’ll see really expensive development boards but it is because it comes with engineer hours or a dedicated FAE for whatever project. I’m sure the card has an inflated material cost for legitimate reasons, can’t be this much.
Anyway the movies and banks that buy these have the money, and there are only so many options. These companies are large enough to be buying cards from enormous budgets expecting bigger returns anyway.
