Got hackused earlier today while playing in a crossplay off, PlayStation only lobby because… checks notes… I heard a bomb drone from too far away. Seriously…
This guy then spent the rest of the game trying to get people to spam report me, and after the game sent me a load of angry direct messages saying I was hacking. Bearing in mind that as a PlayStation user, when he clicked on my profile to DM me he would have unavoidably seen that I was on PS too.
I had to look him up after, I assumed he would be the absolutely bottiest of the bots, but he actually has a 1+ Resurgence KD somehow and is level 1050 so clearly plays a lot.
These people are out there, they exist, and if you're on PC they potentially hold the keys to the spam report shadow land. Scary stuff… thank god console shadow bans don't exist!

I love this shit personally. Ive also had someone lose the plot because ‘I was camping on the hill’ on Ashika.
I’d literally just rotated from a building, wiped a team in the next one then moved to the hill where they were, wiped them, then the next team that arrived, all while moving constantly.
The guy stayed in the lobby just to spam shit about me my supposed camping constantly. At least he saw me get the dub shortly after.

Eh I blame Activision for letting it get this bad. With all the rampant cheating going on and the lack of a working anti-cheat people are going to get falsely accused occasionally.
Reminds me of all the people who instantly accuse creators of speed hacks, even though they’ve been patched out since Fortune’s Keep released.
I don’t like it the whole system. It gives absolute idiots the power to give a decent casual player the chance of a shadow. Believe me!
