Haven’t been impressed this much by new awper since shiro.Super good player overall insane liquid pickup.On the other hand yekindar needs to go if they want to achive anything.
I know its fun to poke fun at analysts and all but can you really blame them for not hyping up ultimate, he has been around in the tier 2/3 space for a few years and has not performance anywhere near to this level. Just look at his stats over the last few years, a 1.06 rating over 2023 against tier 2/3 teams is far from impressive. I’m more interested in seeing whether he is able to keep up this form in the future or whether its more of a honeymoon period.
The same thing you and most people thought. Literally who???? He was a tier irrelevant awper without amazing stats. Theres no dunk when literally no one knew this dude and its still too early to tell
He was a complete unknown coming into the roster, the last time Liquid did that Rainwaker was banished to T3. He’s doing great, check back in 2 months if you really want to dunk on the analysts.
Hindsight is 20/20.

They were saying picking up an awper with clsoe to 0 T1/T2 experience is a massive risk which an organisation like Liquid shouldnt be taking.
Especially whezn you also plan to transform their former star player to an IGL. It’s just risk after risk piling up.
All of this is still valid to say, claiming otherwise is just fullblown hindsight
“Who?” was probably the most used word. Even people following tier 2 would either second that statement, or be perplexed as to why Liquid was picking him up.
So far off to a great start, and whether Liquid saw something others didn’t, or went on a gamble when alternatives weren’t great (people kept mentioning Hades as an alternative. Ofc he has experience, but there are reasons ENCE benched him, and ENCE is nowhere near Liquid) is hard to say.
