It’s not my first choice, but every once in a while I’ll hop on for a game.

  2. No-Photograph6152

Yeah every now and then I’ll go on, love the movement and its nice to run around overpowered mowing everything down, then back to BO3

  3. Lost_Bumblebee2559

I play it every once in a while but NO.

  4. classiccodfan

Iw or bo3 imo didn’t like cold war much

  5. New-bottom23

Every once in a while I do. Depends on how I’m feeling.

  6. voidling_bordee

    Yap,love the pacing

    I AM FUCKING DECIMATING THEM

Just like Price said in your clip haha

Nope, it’s my overall least favourite experience, I just honestly hated the fact that they had to change a format that was working perfectly fine and slap MP/WZ elements into Zombies, it was really unnecessary to me.

I enjoyed the gameplay but I don’t like all the extra bullshit that’s always on my screen. Medals, “+90 zombie elimination” in the middle of my screen every kill, mini map, the gigantic diamond symbols. And the clunkiness of all the dropped items.

Gets tough to see man, but around those things I did enjoy what I was playing

  9. Bledderrrr

Not really. Gets boring really quickly. There’s no point in playing if you already maxed everything.

  10. FishyG23

Definitely the most fun game to just jump in and kill zombies

  11. Swatdude69

cold war zombies imo was so much more fun for casual players than bo3. ik bo3 is brilliant but i like CWZ. i just had more fun on it. downvote me all you want it wont change my mind

Sadly I put so many hours in it, the maps aren’t good enough for me to come back the game had my favourite mechanics and gameplay. Just those maps man are rough.

Yes. Probably a lukewarm take, but I love Cold War’s gameplay next to classic Zombies. In classic Zombies, you’re rewarded for careful gameplay and maneuvering to outrun your trains before mauling them to death using your Wonder Weapon or Trap.

Cold War? You’re rewarded for just saying “screw it” and jumping into the horde armed with just you’re Chryslax and 10 different perks. It’s a total massacre and it fills my brain with dopamine every time I murder a horde of Zombies in less than 5 seconds.

I think its much friendlier to playing with friends who are casual zombie players. I don’t mean that as an insult, it more fun with friends because it’s easier for them. I was a grinder back in bo1-3, would play a game for 2 days maybe 200 rds sometimes, but none of my boys were capable or even interested in that. But they can hop on Cold War, rampage thru 55 rds, and exfil feeling great about themselves. Or bust out a quick 20 worlds on outbreak and call it a day. The campaign was interesting but brief, and multi-player was really enjoyable for me. Playstyle wise it was maybe my best game since bo3, statistically too. It had some bad times(season 5 Tec-9/Em2, Marshals pre-nerf,Scan & Repair season 1) but if you play it now it’s fuckin mint and pretty balanced.

I think I might be on my own little island with this comment. But once the next gen game comes out, I never go back. No matter how much the current one may suck. I tried going into Cold War once after crying over MW3 and the mechanics just felt so clunky and slow. With that being said, I really enjoyed Cold War. It was the only shift from old school Zombies that I think actually worked.

I played hundreds of hours on this game. It just was all around enjoyable for me. It felt refreshing but classic all at the same time. I really hope they build on its features in 6.

  17. Loose-Organization82

It’s better than whatever we got in Modern Warfare 3

  18. Ulti-Wolf

Yes. It is the only one I am able to do an EE on, on my own even

  19. Kill streaks in zombies is pretty awesome, I did think Cold War was pretty easy tho. Compared to older games.

The revive specialist weapon is OP in co-op

  20. JackEleczy

Yup. A lot actually. I‘m one gun from Dark Aether now. And I completed my first map easter egg today.

  21. MarilynManson2003

I somewhat enjoyed it during its lifecycle, but I’ve yet to have any urge to go back and play it again.

  22. SniperInfinite

Nope, its a mode made for baby warzone fans

  23. Animeted_Eric

It’s nowhere near as bad as some people say it is, but it definitely was lower on the zombies tier list

It lacked creativity and soul as the maps were pretty bland, and the story was not there. All the maps were asset flips, which is fine to me. Some of the greats like Der Riese are were also Campaing assets. Maps like fire base z and forsaken were just a little to bland

Shout out to the best map of Cold War Maurer Der Toten

The new system made the game to easy, but I feel treyarch really took that to heart for Bo6 atleast I’m hoping

My biggest complaint and I mean Biggest is the operators. I hated that they had nothing to them it just didn’t feel right to play as these no bodies when some of the biggest charm of zombies were irs unique and amazing characters Such as Primis, Ultimis, Chaos, Mob, Victis, etc etc.

But one thing that people look over is that it was developed in just one year (or less) and was still far better than MWZ or Vanguard. So is it the best not at all, but there is charm to it and I would say yes I do enjoy playing it every now and again

If you don’t want to read all that just know I’d say yeah

  24. Thorlolita

Yes. My wife enjoys it too. Black Ops is too difficult for her. The learning curve and forgiveness it has for newer players make it’s enjoyable. She also liked WW2. So the fact that we can play it together is great.
