I really enjoyed Ragnarok and recommend it. But it is a long game. Maybe too long. Lots and LOTS of optional, side quests and not-optional quests.. branching character paths and you have to do both. Felt a bit bloated and slow to me, compared to the previous game. Worth playing for the story and characters, but the first game is superior overall.

This gives me flashbacks to when King Arthur: Knights Tale released on PC and it was 150GB because the devs launched the game without compressing the textures. The install size for it is now 70GB or so now that they are properly compressed.

For all the bad Ubisoft does, at least they allow you to install the high-res textures separately, thus decreasing the install size.

Why is this a big deal? Games have been over 100GB for a decade now. GTA V was 150GB, so was RDR2. Many current games are over 100GB. Why is this special?

I’ll pass on this one for now, i’ve waited for almost 2 years for the pc port, i guess Kratos can wait at least 6 months
190gb is just waaaaay too much considering other games like Silent Hill 2 remake, DB:sparking zero, epic mickey, Warhammer space marine 2, test drive unlimited solar crown, deadrising remaster and frostpunk 2 are releasing at the same time

I still do not understand how this is a problem to you people. 2TB m.2 is $100. Your PC is $600-$1000. You can install half a dozen or more ssds How the fuck can you not afford to drop $100-$200 on something that lasts A DECADE.
