Go to Office Depot or similar and sit in a bunch of chairs so you can decide for yourself. Get an office chair, not a gaming chair.

I have a SecretLab Titan. It’s okay. Not as comfortable as I’d hoped. Tbh all the “racing seat” gamer chairs are pretty mid in general. Another option is to find a used herman miller (or other reputable ergo-chairs) on FB marketplace and save yourself some dough.

They’re expensive, but I love Steelcase chairs. They last practically forever, especially in their more durable materials. I got it in leather and it has a 12 year warranty. You can find them used to get them a bit cheaper.
Most comfortable and well built chair I’ve ever owned. Even if they’re out of what you want to spend another reputable desk chair manufacturer, especially one that makes mostly corporate chairs, will probably be your best quality. Most gaming specific chairs are pretty terrible but charge for the aesthetic.

Not buy one of those “Gaming Chairs”
Personally, those rotating office chair have been really good for my back.
Correct_Blackberry31
If you have money Herman Miller Embody or Aeron.
If not Ikea Markus is ok.

I just got a Colamy Atlas, and I’m very happy with it. The only thing I don’t like is that the reclining tension doesn’t adjust very high, and the the seat bottom and arm rests are just a bit firmer than I would prefer. The build quality is fantastic though, it’s still really comfortable and adjustable, and it’s only $300 as opposed to comparable chairs mostly costing twice as much (or more). I would happily recomend it.

Anything that slightly resembles a gaming chair run away from. Even the insane expensive ones are garbage. Sihoo makes good ergonomic office chairs for good price

Steelcase Leap V2, get it used.

Get an office chair. You know, chairs designed with billions of office workers working 9-5 daily in mind. Any “gaming chairs” you will see recommended or reviewed are shit. Plus you’ll pay more for the “gamer” look.

Naaa. You don’t replace it until you break 2 caster wheels.

Searching for ergonomic office chairs is a good start. Like others have said, anything with gaming written anywhere on it will be garbage

I just bought staples hyken office chair cuz I can’t afford an herman miller. It was 100 bucks on sale.
KickYourFace73
I switched to a mesh-back chair so I don’t have to feel with the peeling and getting covering all over my floor. Have yet to see how they wear and tear over time but I can’t stand the peeling of fake leather and vinyl chairs.

Noblechairs full leather with last you another 10 years +
My 17 year old chair doin just fine 🤣. Im picking up stray debree every night for the past year.

I’m looking at your chair and thinking that your great, comfy executive chair has nothing in common with the ergonomic stuff and yet people are still going to recommend you ergonomic stuff all the same.
Pup__Onyx
When my shitty ‘gaming chair’ broke I sucked it up and dropped more money than I was comfortable with on a refurbished Steelcase Leap V2 from eBay.
I regret absolutely nothing, it’s leagues better comfort wise, can easily handle my uhhh ‘excess weight’, and the place I got it from even gave it a 10 year warranty.
Mutant_Stump
Last two times I needed a chair I got a steal on them at Office Depot. I looked for sales specifically and found good discounts both times

Like everyone says. Get a good proper office chair. Ideally used.
I got a Steelcase leap used from an office refurb place for like $200.
Most bigger cities have used office furniture places. Would be worth searching for.

Do not get a Titan Lab, I have an XL 2020 and it’s just broken for the third time in 4 years. Thankfully the extended warranty keeps it limping on, but its not worth the pricetag. I’m hearing good things about Herman Miller (Very Pricy) and Steelcase chairs, but for now, work have paid for an office 9-5 chair for me to work from home in, that might just do the trick for now xD
Drecondius
throw a cased pillow in that bad boy and keep on keepin on

Honestly just go to a Staples type place and sit in a bunch. Stay away from gaming chairs. I really like my mesh one I’ve got from staples. My back stays cool and doesn’t sweat.

Gaming chair suck. Save up get a good office chair. Steelcase Series 1 was one of my best purchases and can be found under 500

Any office chair with mesh material and a decent neck support. Bonus points if it has a lumbar support with appropriate/adjustable height. Don’t know any specific brands though, i bought mine almost a decade ago.
Edit : wait no it’s past a decade old. Wtf even is time.

First off, don’t buy a “gaming chair”. Get a proper office chair

Get a second hand nice steel case. If you fish about online you can get good deals

Ugh, I had almost that exact chair. Never buy cheap phony leather. I got a mesh chair instead. Been over a year and still looks brand new, with no easily worn down material. I recommend don’t buy anything that have the “gaming” in the name.
Search for an office chair.
Walter_Bennett_True
Please, if you’re getting a gaming chair, get one with steel wheels and base, mine was with plastic one and broke it after 2 years of normal use, the seat was as old as an average mercedes leather seat and I threw it away 128€
Now I have a 65€ office chair that is quite better than that fat ass heavy ass frying chair
BaconMeetsCheese
Those so called “gaming chairs” are scam. Get yourself an office chair instead

First of all never buy a gaming chair. Find the best office chair you can afford and buy that!

What is your budget? Personally, I use a Herman Miller Embody Logitech and it’s been great. While I agree with others on avoiding sub 1000€ gaming chairs, this particular one is better, in my opinion and for my body, than the normal Embody.
I don’t know your age but try to invest in a good chair. Your back will thank you later.

Every time this is posted the hive mind of this sub will say “Not a gaming chair” and then recommend the “Herman Miller Aeron”. The Aeron is very expensive but they’ll say “look at furniture supply stores” or wait for businesses to close to hunt deals.
Since I’m sure those two points are already covered here, as an alternative I’ll recommend my CLATINA Mellet. It was $250 so you know the price range.
