
Hello. I just ran TimeSpy Extreme to check performance numbers, and on my first run I noticed something very weird. I have a 13700K running at stock ratios (so all-core boost 5.3Ghz and two-core boost up to 5.4Ghz). The post-test graphs showed a CPU clock speed spike up to 6.5Ghz, which I don't think should be possible. This came with a temp spike up to 104C, while the temp was kept mostly below 90C during the rest of the test (very hot ambient right now). I then made a few more tests which didn't show the same spike, and then one that showed a spike up to 6.3GHz.
I booted into BIOS, manually set the turbo ratio limit to x53 for all cores and disabled Turbo Boost 3.0 (which allows the extra +100Mhz boost). Logged back to Windows and did a few custom runs with just the CPU test, did 4-5 of those, and at some point I saw the exact same spike, but this time up to 7(!)GHz.

Has anybody ever seen something like that?
I've never seen any boost above the expected turbo ratio under any other circumstances, and HWInfo runs 24/7 in the background. I should also note here that HWInfo doesn't report the same spikes.
I am thinking it's some kind of a bug with TimeSpy, as if my CPU really boosted to 7GHz one time, there is no way it didn't crash considering it's also undervolted.
