What’s point of buying laptops other than ThinkPad or MacBook? (Think Pad can be extremely cheap, and on MacBook you can edit heavy videos on battery… maybe good for YouTubers)
Handheld pc or desktop pc would be better at every role.
Need to travel? Handheld with dock station or Bluetooth keyboard would be better. Same stuff with watching movies and gaming on go.
Need to play AAA games? PC would be cheaper and better.

I have my ASUS laptop since June 2016, still runs fine. Hope they will send you a new one when it is under warranty. People like to talk shit about ASUS but half of the things I own are from them and never ran into any issues.

My last gaming laptop from ASUS lasted a long ass time, from August-September 2019 to the beginning of 2024. The mobo died eventually and when I sent in the laptop for repair the ASUS guys even fixed it for free and gave it back, they did tell me that this is all they can do and if it died again they will have to replace the mobo for a ridiculous price and it’s better for me to get a new laptop.
That old laptop lasted another month and it died so i got a HP victus for cheap during black friday.
