can we please get more of a zombies identity with HUD?
i miss how it used to feel like zombies HUD rather than warzone/multiplayer

only gripe i have with the game along with the reused perk icons honestly so it’s more of a nitpick

With how they’re offering the ability to disable certain HUD elements, maybe they’ll offer some customization too. Doubt it, since it’s such a small problem, but one can hope!

  2. Dejected_Cyberpsycho

Agree definitely, love the layout, but would love more of an aesthetic to it.

I’m just disappointed that armor plates are back 🙁

  4. This is one criticism I can agree on and I hope the hud presets have at least a no hud version and they add more styles to the hud

Even cold war had a nice style to it even if it wasn’t custom for zombies.

The ammo counter and tactical/lethal select just look like they’re from a mobile game

I love how the game is shaping up to be but when I saw the hud I was actually shocked at how just ugly it looked. I liked cold wars hud and was expecting something similar but this is just a packed mess that looks horrible imo

  7. Even In BO3, the HUD should have changed between map! Only Shadows of Evil was different!

I hope they see this feedback and alter it, we’ve got enough time for them to fix it, I’m sure it doesn’t take too much time to do it. I think the question is: How do you make a wildly customizable HUD whilst having it all feel the same zombies vibe?

It’s entirely possible they’ll still change it, they still have a month or so before printing starts and the game looks more or less finished.

It’s also possible they might not, in which case, yes, this is the ugliest UI I’ve seen in some time and I’ll be shutting everything but the ammo counter off. Even then, if there’s an option to only show the counter on reload, I’m taking it.

You need a microscope to see your points lol

This is what I originally thought when they said the hud would be customizable. Not just moving/removing the ammo/rounds/map/etc on screen, but the actual design of it. If it had more personality like bo3, it would boost the atmosphere even more so imo. Love the look of the gameplay and everything, just the hud is very bland and lacking.

AGREED. Just looks so basic and boring. It’s seems like a very small thing but the hud is literally on the screen at all times, it affects the aesthetic a lot. The shadows one has so much style and is thematically designed for the specific map, the bo6 one just looks like the most basic warzone hud with absolutely no effort or creativity put into it

Just mentally preparing for the possibility of HUD Bundles

Facts. It just looks BLAND AF. BO3 had the best hud IMO. They just needa edit the formula a bit. Cause the new one ain’t it fam

    Just don’t use a HUD

    JOKES 😂😂

Im a fan of the old one with the bloody red HUD from waw-bo2, especially in bo2 when it changed from map to map. That was cool. Bo3’s was second best and after that…

Remember when SOE had a picture of Cthulhu for the Max ammo pop up?

  18. Forgor_Password

the game isn’t even out yet and y’all are bitching about what is likely a temporary hud… I’m extremely disappointed

I think it would be cool to give it a Binary/Digital/Matrix look, seeing as we are operatives on the run. It would make sense that we would use old/scavenged tech to maintain communication and gather intel.

  20. BaconJakin

I don’t understand why they insist on doing this

  21. Fusion_Fear

I actually kinda miss having the little portraits showing which player was what character by the points

but I know that wont be a thing anymore cause operators

I hope I can at least turn off the massive portrait on the side whenever someone is using comms to talk to us
