Other companies should do this.. make other people work on your franchises makes the franchises grow and probably in ways you can’t imagine

I mean $200 million in the red due to Suicide Squad game will make them do just that.
No surprising when their sales dont go as planned. I would love to see these games in the hands with developers with passion and talent.

I feel like Warner Brothers will stick to its four biggest hitters (Middle Earth, Mortal Kombat, DC, and Harry Potter) if they stick to keeping their IPs inhouse, whereas there are probably countless studios (Both AAA and Indie) out there with ideas for the likes of The Matrix, Dirty Harry, Scooby Doo, Inception, etc
Please, license HP to Atlus, I want a proper school at day, adventure after classes experience.

Look WB, I’ll be honest, all I want is a Batman Beyond game following on from the Arkham games. Call it Batman: Beyond Arkham if you have to.
Imagine the art style of Arkham Knight but Gotham has that futuristic spin with ray traced neon lights, billboards and stuff in the rain. Hrrrrrrggg.
No live service or any of that garbage. Good game. Just good game.
If rumor of them selling is true WB just want to sell their studios. They want others to pay them to make MK games, Batman games etc. But this doesn’t seem like they’re planning to sell.

Crazy how they had a winning formula with the Arkham games and ended up shitting the bed with two Batman-adjacent games, pouring god knows how many millions at live service broken garbage.

How about letting people use the nemesis system instead of locking it away only to be used again on a wonder woman game that might not even release based on rumors of the problems.
They want to, but it won’t work because their fees will be too high. They’ve mostly driven their own IP down, and most big name studios have their own IP to use.
I entirely believe that they’ll want to be too hands on with restrictions while also wanting too high of a revenue split for this to work for almost any studio that is actually willing to attempt this. This sounds just as bad as the rumors that they were looking to sell all their game studios while keeping the IP, it just wouldn’t make any sense.
Maybe the Nemesis system can actually be used in other games now
They are gonna make Harry Potter Go or some mobile type game. Along with actual console type games, so hopefully they split their greedy money grubbing ideology into the mobile gaming market and give us some decent PC/Console games.
