Turns out, when debating whether to get a 13600K or a 13500, I averted a huge crisis for my first ever build lol

I’ve had my i9-13900KS since launch, January 2023, no problems so far knock on wood. With 18 months in and another 3.5 years of warranty, I wish this were my biggest problem in life.

Got several rigs. I use both Intel and AMD CPUs. I have 4 rigs using Intel 14900k and 14900ks. My main gaming rig is the 14900ks overclocked to 6.4ghz locked on two cores. Been running them all daily for 5-8m+, zero issues on any of them. Guess I got lucky 🤷🏻♂️

Yeah, that is life now, undervolted it and lowered the max wattage by a hundred. Hope this’ll keep her alive

I bought 13th for GF and it’s mixed feelings

Do people understand that only about 15% of CPUs are affected, and mainly the early production models? The oxidation problem was identified before production and recalled internally, so only a small number actually made it to end users.

I’m more scared of the guy who bought $700k in INTC stock

My 13900K and 14900Ks are fine since their respective launch, no problems just a -0.100V offset

That is why I never purchase anything on release. Except videogames since they can be patched, but cyberslut 2069 I am glad I didn’t buy on release.

Wait… What did I miss? I don’t understand much about hardware…. Please give me some context
