Ah, classic find! Time to reminisce about all the hours spent trying to save on those tiny squares.

Mine still works! One of the first ones sold the day they released it at the Best Buy in Newark, OH ^_^. I can’t believe it still works, they don’t make consoles like thy used to – which I realize is a very old person thing to say, but maybe it has some merit ya know

I still have mine from when I was a little kid lol, fond memories. I need to see if anyone makes a pc adapter like the gameboy operator so I can rip off the save data and make a backup of it.

I used to think 8mb was a large space. Today, 8mb is the size of a simple jpeg

I bought two cards for my Franken-PS2 and one of them was loaded full of data from someone with a heavy interest in rpgs like myself. His FF7 save file had the glorious 7777 build with Barret. He had a level 85 Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms Iskar Shaman. Don’t even get me started on the 105hr LotR: The Third Age save file 🥹
