The real kicker in the nuts tho is when you go to loot the mfs to see what bs they hit you with only to land on a tier 1 unmodded nekomata.

For me the FIA agents during the songbird ending. For some reason those mfs had an absurd amount of damage and took me 18 tries to beat. I played on very hard and took on every main game (including smasher) and DLC boss on my first try. It’s not fun when an automatic ar can kill you in 4 shots.

Adam Smasher boss fight.
First time playing the game on 2.0 Very Hard it was such bullshit. That move where he basically sends a barrage of rockets all over the arena that is continuous and basically insta kills you was so trash. What makes it even worse is that the attack doesnt stop after you die, so if you have the second heart cyberware, you’ll just die again instantly if the missle barrage was still going when u were revived.
Add in the fact that there are other enemies thrown in who use smart snipers that can attack you from behind cover.
And I went with Rogue and gave Johnny control over V’s body, so i was stuck with them anti grav boots which made things worse, I’d fall from one platform down to a lower one, but would just float in the air before landing, whilst Smasher is gunning me down midair.
The only other fight that was remotely as frustrating as this was the chimera fight during PL, but at least you had turrets in that fight you could hack to help you.
There’s fair difficulty and then there’s frustrating and unfair difficult.

Everything on Very Hard in the early game, lol. But that Octant during the Heist was the worst. Took me over an hour to get through that on VH.

That one cyberpsycho in Kabuki who spends the fight mostly invisible. Mostly because I always run into her early in the game, so I always try to fight her when I have very few perks and trash-tier equipment. I’m sure she’s no problem if you fight her with decent stuff, but I’m stubborn, so I’ll probably never know, lol

The robot controlled by Songbird near the end of the dlc(if you betray her). Not that its overly complicated but more of an issue with me having zero investment in stealth and sneaky approaches and just invest in health, brute force and armor and this part forces you into a hide and seek mindset that you dont have to do at any other part of the game
