It’s more that we’re pushing 1000 Pokemon. I still remember most of the first 4 gens, but after a while they just blend together. A lot are nothing Pokemon.

Homework works better if you can associate it with something you do in everyday life than just answering questions. It’s the common use that allows it to stay in your head.
You’re not really life or death quizzing yourself on them and if it’s not pertinent to remember, then why bother?
I kind of see it like a hard drive. Files not accessed anymore just take space for no purpose. Let the space be filled with more present memories.
Or just panic like Psyduck like the rest of us. Haha
