In all seriousness, knowing that they escape at some point in one way or another is kinda cool and I really, reslly hope they orchestrated the escape themselves like in mob. Because Grey just going “well shit, noone’s coming for me. Guess I’ll get myself the fuck outta here then” would be cool as fuck.
I think the most likely outcome is the same situation as Firebase Z. Sam helps “open the door” while having little control, knowing that an outbreak gives them a much better chance of escape.
