In light of the news of Game Informer shutting down, I thought it would be cool to share the three old magazines I was able to save from when I had a subscription.
Not much rhyme or reason that it’s these 3 issues, these are just the ones that made it through the years of moving around.
But one does include a Resident Evil 4 Preview! One of the many previews that I would read over breakfast cereal before the days of killing time on my various smartphone feeds. And one of the only games that I ended up owning on multiple platforms and just beating the crap out of!
And Bioshock 2! Man, was I excited for that game!
RIP Game Informer. Thank you for decades of helping me think about the games I wanted to play in all the downtime between when I was able to play games.

I used to have a small box of Game Informer mags, but got rid of them years ago. I miss gaming magazines though. Seems like print media is nearly done for, at least when it comes to magazines.

Batman Arkham City was my favorite cover.
I saved about 70 in order, but they weighed a lot and I never looked at them a second time, I literally tossed 60 of them in the trash, wonder if the price will go up
The fact this says ‘back when’ in regard to Bioshock 2 makes me feel old. lol
I remember having the GI featuring a guide to FF7. Man I wish I’d have kept that.
The Borderlands cover art and the 2014’s Fortnite showcase were my favorites despite not owning any piece of physical magazine.
