You shot at nothing giving away your location then you shot into the mountain while your opponent had elevation on you and proceeded to annihilate you. Does that answer your question?

Those frames are so choppy. It’s sad that you need the best equipment to be competitive but just upgrade

lol, It clearly shows you hitting the mountain instead of the other player…. Why, when people are mad because they get got do they always blame the game or cheating? You just sucked in that moment…. Own it and move on.

I mean it looks like you got a terrain sink pop up straight into your crosshair.

There are lots of meshes overlaid for different levels of detail (higher detail terrain up close, distant terrain rendered at a lower lod). They are supposed to slowly pop up out of the ground and are sort of blended together as you move around so the game can render a huge distance with much less triangles… I guess your Xbox was struggling and just didn’t stream the higher lod mesh in until it caught up, so you were just shooting a collision mesh for terrain you couldn’t see.

My guess is that you are running on the stock drive and not an SSD? I’d look at investing in an SSD if so, it will make a huge difference. You might still drop some frames but asset streaming will be so much faster you won’t have such a huge IO bottleneck and it will help across the board.

They are only about £20 (you only need 250gb SSD, I think you could even go lower but MS say it needs to be a certain size at least).

Or just buy a next gen console.
