Okay hear me out, don’t rush things, but also don’t leave the story for last. Do some side stuff for a while then do some story stuff. Get Phantom Liberty ASAP, it adds so much great content but the base game is still dope without it. You can reset your skill tree pretty easy now so experiment with builds, but know that gorilla arms really help early game and it helps having high strength in most cases. This may not seem important now, but when you find Skippy, choose puppy loving pacifist. Other than that, have fun man.

I dropped the game in 2020 because it was disastrous but have been loving since coming back with Phantom Liberty and the 2.0 update.
I gave up on this game when I originally purchased on the PS4. Returned to it recently on PC to give it another shot after a Steam sale and have put in over 150 hours and counting so far and will likely do a replay with a different build down the line as well. Great great game!

Take your time, re-immerse yourself in the world and enjoy the ride! Explore as much as you can, and don’t feel too rushed to do the main missions, everything counts as V’s story! Although I recommend getting into Phantom Liberty as soon as you can!
I say do the Voodoo boys quest line as fast as possible, but finish all the Judy and Panam quests before you start phantom liberty
