this gig was a hard decision for me, i definitely wanted to save indira, but if the netwatch agent was telling the truth it may be the right decision to let him finish the entire mission. i decided to save indira either way, she clearly needed help right now and i wasn't just gonna let them walk away, but it makes me wonder if letting the netwatch agent go he could've actually saved many more people.

The client gets protected, either way, either through Netwatch or Hands. It just depends how you want the Op to go.

As soon as you leave the Facility, you get a call from Hands who’s practically ready to blow V, because he just got a message from Netwatch who complimented him and placed Indira under full witness protection, meaning she is protected by 6(!) top tier Netrunners around the clock, making it impossible to harm her.
Later you get a message from Alan who tells you he was successfull in taking down Milkos whole operation and that Milko now sits in Jail.
Your Client gets protecte either way, but if you let the Netwatch Agent do his thing, you help a lot of Indiras who probably couldn’t afford a top tier Fixer.
Hands praised my judgement for increasing his standing with Netwatch, while also serving the interests of the client.
Quick trick, create a save point right before you make any big decision and if you feel inclined to try for a better outcome, reload that save and try it again

19/20 times Johnny is right about corpos, that 1/20 is netwatch. Out of all the various factions we meet in the game netwatch is one of the few fighting the good fight
I also let Alan finish his biz because I hate VDBs more than I care about the gig
My current V is a consummate professional. So as soon as this gentleman told me to stop he got a silenced round in the dome. Then my target got several. All he had to do to live though was start with “I’m with Netwatch.” Then my V would have stopped and listened. Professional as he is, he knows Netwatch does good work.
I was wondering why netwatch was trying to kill me. Guess I know now thanks to this thread.
Let the netwatch agent do his thing. If u do, the client gets placed under netwatch’s direct around the clock protection. So it’s a win win.
