Planning to pain the walls dark green, install black acoustic walls treatments, put down a rug, and add some warm accent lighting. I’d love any addition advice to make the place warm and comfortable for a work / gaming office.
Also could use a recommendation for this space to the left of the desk where there’s an open area.

Step 1 – tidy!
If what u have there is a rifle, hang it on the wall. Makes it look cool in general.

Get you a blanket

Warm light and plants is a good start.
* Take out those boxes, store the stuff laying on the floor elsewhere.
* Put shelves on that left corner to display some of your favourite books, games, figurines, decorative light bulbs, plants… you name it! and use it to route that cable behind it
* On that note, I’d get a power strip with an L-shaped connector so you can easily route and hide the cable with some “plastic guides” (not sure how those are called in english). Get one with a longer cable too, so you can hide the strip itself behind the black drawers on the left. Then, do your best to tidy up all the cables of your setup.
* Get one of those bulbs that you can dim and change the tone for your ceiling light. Light tone makes a big difference.
* Put something on that wall: posters, shelves, pictures…
