I know they could just get another dev to make a sequel but I don’t think it would feel the same. Hi-fi rush feels a lot like those old school 6th generation action platformers I grew up with. Very nostalgic feeling. Plus it’s always nice to enjoy a strictly linear game after playing a bunch of massive open world games.

    That’s a real bummer, Hi-Fi Rush was a gem.

“We need smaller games that give us prestige and awards.”

Proceed to shut down Tango Gameworks

felt like a rhythm game trying to dress itself up as something more than a rhythm game – the traversal parts in between combat or w/e you want to call it were extremely pointless and tedious. bounced right off of it after like 20 minutes.

Shutting down Tango does not mean there won’t be more Hi-Fi Rush. The studio was already internally falling apart when Microsoft bought it.
