Please tell me why the fuck does one drive try to backup my desktop brooo

I have a OneDrive subscription and I’ve turned PC syncing off because it’s so fucking annoying like I just organized my desktop and then a new update comes around and turns on syncing and literally my whole desktop is cluttered (as well as my documents and photos folder). OneDrive is great for storing files but absolutely disgusting to have on your PC

And that is the reason you do not put ANYTHING important into the user-file-structure like videos music documents or so as long as you can avoid it.

Make a plain folder named backup on your 2 tb hdd and squeze the sweet cheese to that place.

One Drive can not sync something at which it can not get its grubby little stinkfingers.

Open your task manager… Go to start up and disabled One Drive.. You are welcome.

All of my personal files somehow got on my work onedrive. I wanted to delete onedrive and it deleted the files

We should all fill our OneDrive with gibberish and AI Poisoned images

does this actually happen if you uninstall or delete onedrive?

At least you have shortcuts to remember the file name.

There’s a “workaround” to create a new Documents folder and re-route the alias used by “My Documents” so everything goes in there instead, but it involves messing around in regedit, so it’s obviously something Micro$oft doesn’t want people to know about.
