I think for the most part, the maps were pretty cool.
its the only non 3arc attempt of Zombies I liked and got into, despite many faults, id play it over IWZ and WWIIZ any day. Descent and Carrier are banger maps that could just do with having the forced boss fights and bomber rounds removed.
It’s probably the nostalgia talking since I grew up with BO2 Zombies and Exo Zombies but I have a soft spot for it.
Even with all of its short-comings…*cough *cough EMZs.
I genuinely have a soft spot for Advanced Warfare. To this day it’s the only other COD game besides BO3 I go back and play.
I played it for the first time this year, and the only thing I didn’t like about the mode were the infection rounds (I will mention that I only have 3-4 hours of playtime across the four maps).
Remove the EMZs and it’s near perfection, imo
Ngl I forget exo zombies exists. But I liked it when outbreak released, anything passed that for me was no fun.
Constantly adding new zombie types wad just annoying for me.
It’s great, one of my favorite zombies modes of all time, it’s so fun and chaotic and far more challenging than 3arch zombies. The EMZs are there for balancing reasons, lotta people don’t get that tho.
It wasn’t my introduction to Zombies, but it’s the reason I got into doing the Easter eggs. I’ve had a hame night with friends since shortly before this released and because of bad weather 4 of us got snowed in at the host’s house the night before Exo Zombies released. Played it in groups of 2 because there was only 1 console, bought Advanced Warfare when I got home and our game night would turn into Zombie Waster egg night whenever the 4 of us were the only players to show up.
I like this game so much I think it’s really underrated.
It’s the only zombie mode that consistently challenges me and that’s something I adore
