The 3DS remake of Zelda OoT needs to come to Switch. After seeing it in HD, I think it’s mental for Nintendo to keep this beautiful game trapped on such a low res screen. It’s so much better than the N64 version.

They do it to sell units, which is a shame for them since I’m going to emulate the hell out of it.

My issue with remaking games is the time wasted on that. Ported might be enough imho. And the full true effort and budget should go to bigger or more teams to new entries/experiences. Planet earth keeps spinning, and with each remaster I feel it’s like stopping progress. I hate it.

But this is just me I know…. Can’t help it though.

Edit: I said remakes but I wanted to say remasters. Sorry.

  6. I think the reason is so they can have people subscribe to NSO, since that is the only way to play the old versions on Switch and having a collection of the HD N64 games will definitely deter some from subscribing. I think that is also why we haven’t seen a WW and TP remasters release for Switch, they are withholding it for the eventual Game Cube app for Switch 2 with the of course original games and not the remasters.

I just hope that they at least do a timed collection like they did with Mario games.

I would love for them to release a twin pack of this and mm hd for the switch but then again I’d also love for Nintendo to remake golden sun and golden sun lost age into one big game as it should be 😭

Lol, we don’t even have the HD versions of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. They are trapped in the Wii U of all consoles.

The issue with Ocarina of Time 3d in HD is that it looks like a mobile game. They would need to remaster it again rather than making a simple port.

So, what would the title be? The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D HD?

Even on the 3DS, this game was such a breath of fresh air. The original OoT mostly ran at like 20 frames a second and the 3DS remake ran at a much more pleasing 30 FPS. That said, I prefer the N64 textures over the 3DS textures due to their more gloomy look, so I think the best way to play OoT is the PC port at 60 FPS.
