I’m always shocked at how many people not only still preorder games, but will happily shell out an extra 30-40 bucks just to play a product of unknown quality 3 days early.

For games that cost money, I always wait and watch some yt content to see if it lives up to the community’s expectations before buying it.

Millions of people spent 30 extra bucks to play college football 25 early when the game isn’t even finished yet. Half the reason we need to regulate capitalism is because of the unspeakable evil that occurs when we don’t, but the other half is because some people are too stupid to live and need to be protected from themselves.

i think most people preorder for discount or special bonus for preorder.
Chainprince73
I would pre-order if the pre-order bonus was a free game.
Low-Dog-8027
the only reason I see for preorder is when they give additional bonuses that you wouldn’t have access to otherwise.
(if the bonus is good obviously)
that’s the only reason where I’d even consider it. but I still never preordered and probably never will.

Hey, don’t judge me and my decision to pre-order the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. I know it’s going to be an awesome game and I’m showing the devs that this is the kind of content I want.

Pre-orders are to display support.

Preloading is great if your internet connection is not the greatest, though

I preorder games from companies that deserve my trust. Rockstar Games and Blizzard are the only ones I preorder from.

Can’t wait to preorder gta vi.

The last time I pre-ordered a game it was worth it. It was a game I really wanted to play, and the preorder benefit was early access. I happened to break a few toes and would be sitting at home all weekend so that tipped the scales.

I have pre order/bought the day they came out because there where no ore orders for the following
Persona 3 reload
Oxygen not included spaced out dlc
Oxygen not included ice world dlc
Smash bros ultimate
And soon to be Factorio space age
I say that’s pretty fair
MegaChubbz

WarmasterCain55

I pre-ordered Portal 2 because Valve was running some fun little ARG event around it. I think that’s the only time I’ve ever pre-ordered a game.
NeonTHedge
I think it’s okay to pre-order if you know what kind of a game to expect from the company.
I pre-ordered RE4R, because I’ve already really enjoyer RE2R and RE8. Or that I’ll pre-order Shadow x Sonic Generations, because I’m a sonicfan. Or people will always pre-order Nintendo’s game, because they never gonna fail you (if you’re not a Pokemon fan)
But if you’re preordering shitty Ubisoft or EA games that are known to be a scam coming from the worst videogame companies, well, you’re dumb then.
Colonel_Cuntcock
A lot of preorders offer perks. Sometimes they suck, sometimes they don’t.

I’m from a country whose currency did lose value againts USD so there are times I saved money by pre-ordering? paying less for a game I want with disposible income.
