With all the issues going on, I would just not use it at all until the Intel microcode update is released and available in an update on your motherboard.

At this point it would’ve been cheaper to restart and switch to AMD lmao
pokemonfan95
Downvolt it
KEKWSC2

may I ask which kind of info you have to provide to have an RMA? I am starting to see issues, and like you I have a boxed CPU (not from a prebuilt)
GetHimBob
Can you describe the issues you experienced? I want to know what to look out for

Why do people keep buying these?? I am so confused lol if they are that shit wouldnt it be smarter to rock something else till intel fixes their shit?
EiffelPower76
Just use 99% max processor state in Windows, that will disable turbo mode

Is this an i9 thing? I went with a 13th i7 when I built my latest. The i9 had known heat issues so I avoided
joodontknowme
Trash. After the second replacement you should have got an AMD…leopards ate my face?

Oh lord, wonder how many they are burning through on RMAs right now.

I think the most frustrating thing is, even if you decide to get a refund for the CPU, what do you do with the motherboard…
Tacos_Joestar24
At that point just switch to AM5
IlTossico
3th replacement. lol
-PlatinumSun
Just wait for the microcode patch to put it in eh.
Fusseldieb
I would honestly downvolt it and disable turbo, so it shouldn’t die, not even after the warranty period. If their statement is right, then disabling turbo shouldn’t push it over the edge in any way.

Should have switched to AMD one replacement ago.
