I always wondered how he saw through that mask though.
This always felt like a cyberpunk game to me as well.
Watch Dogs 2 overall is a cyberpunk story, despite being set in the present day. Just because it’s bright and flashy doesn’t make it not that.
When the original cyberpunk authors were writing these, they weren’t imagining dark grimy desaturated humorless grim dark, they were seeing futuristic 80s aesthetics, and that was bright and flashy and weird and loud colors and androgynous.
*Watch_Dogs* is Cyberpunk series.
Watch Dogs 1 is about the “grr angry” gray desaturated vibe of old cyberpunk noir.
Watch Dogs 2 is about the kinds of *goofy fucking dorks* that would actually form underground hacker groups and I love it for it.
