With very few exceptions the brotherhood is right about super mutants. They are generally big dumb and mean to a fault. Theres virgil, Erickson, and Marcus/the mutants of Jacobs town. I haven't played 1,2,or really much of 76 so if they exist in those games feel free to correct me. I think the biggest flaw with maxson's brotherhood is they refuse to make justifiable exceptions. Some ghouls are just people it's only ferals that need to be exterminated. Some synths are just people with robot bodies, as long as they stop being made I see no issue with leaving the existing non hostile ones alone. Yes there are even occasions where super mutants are just people, not every single one needs to be killed. The brotherhood's fatal flaw is extremism. It can't just be feral ghouls it has to be all ghouls, it can't just be dangerous synths it has to be all synths. If you don't accept anyone you alienate everyone.

I feel like any remaining mutants possibly fled to the commonwealth or perhaps the NCR
