If anyone fancies a bit of fun, the Verruckt revamped mod on workshop is amazing. WW2 weapons, limited perks, no gobblegum, more horrific nazi zombie models, completely overhauled ambience and zombie sounds and some additional map changes to bring you that authentic and horrific WAW experience.

I was literally just playing this last night. Very fun way to re-experience the classic Verrückt. Unfortunately, idk why, the performance was kind of going downhill for me the deeper I got into the match
This alone outlines the potential WWII zombies showed. Taking the horror aspects of WAW and turning them up to a million by adding complete body horror was probably one of the greatest ideas out of Sledgehammer to this date
