It seemed like the Survival DLC for The Division was fairly popular. I bought The Division 2 fully expecting this mode to return, but it never happened. Seems like a major missed opportunity or am I missing something?

I imagine COD swallowed them all up! I’ve not played a shooter other than a BF or COD since I guess the Bad Company 2 days. But, I’m just one human.
It was such a good mode, I’m quite suprised it didn’t return. The snowstorm theme was absolutely perfect for managing survival aspects. After maxxing, I found myself in that mode more of then than not and the random encounters with other players made it even better.
Ubisoft is trying to hit Guinnes World Record for missing the fucking point for 20 years consecutively they can’t do something that makes sense
Yeah with the division 2 being out for so long i can’t help but feel the first one was just better. Maybe it’s nostalgia glasses but I feel the expansions where better
“Huge missed opportunity” sums up Division 2 pretty nicely. I love the game and sunk a lot of time into it but they made some incredibly baffling decisions. In particular with the Dark Zone.
Survival is the only reason I kept playing the first game.
