It’s a great game and the guy made a fortune already, I’m sure he easily could make another title and keep the income flow coming if he wanted to

I can’t wait for Haunted Chocolater

One of the greatest developers of all time of one of the greatest games of all time.

You really better screen this because you wont see many like these nowadays.

Very cool, but dude… I’m happy to pay you for your mountain of life-consuming effort and the beautiful things you create.

I love when developers give back to the community, especially when the game gets as big as stardew did

That’s unfortunate. I know it’s not everyone’s goal, but with the money he made off of SDV, he could hire a few more developers, open a small indy game studio and produce numerous quality updates/expansions to this game. This would employ some new game developers, create new and interesting content and increase consumer choice.
Game development doesn’t have to be a choice between solo/completely free or an EA-style greedopoly. The happy medium is where a lot of great content comes from.
But OTOH, if he’s just happy being a solo developer and working on this for himself, that’s fine too. I just don’t like the implication that paid-for DLC is necessarily evil.

Honestly, I don’t understand rich people. The regular ones. 110 million or 120 millions? Who cares!?
I’d be happy to get the guys who bought my game and MADE me a millionaire something in return.

He swore on the honor of his family name, too. That’s just so real to me, cause everybody understands how this Harvest Moon/Animal Crossing shit gets so real.
Like a Rune Factory spin-off, sometimes you need to be willing to kill for this shit.
Jfonzy
Probably because he doesn’t have an ocean of developers to pay for like these AAA companies

Nothing against OP, but this is easily the 7th time I’ve seen this same post this week. And it’s only Tuesday .
