Who could have possibly seen this coming? They don’t mention anything RE. performance regressions but this is Intel dialling back their own stock power settings so might be bad.

In an update Intel admitted that some CPU’s were having oxidation problems.

Didn’t we already do this? Voltage issue with microcode update and updated recommendations?

  5. Does a “microcode update” mean it’ll be delivered via a Windows update or does it mean a BIOS update?

I just bought a 13900KF because it was $400 on Amazon last week. I guess, I didn’t do my homework, yet again, and am seeing all of this stuff now. I have not installed it yet. Is there some database of affected batch codes I can reference?

Going intel has been such a huge regret for me. Never again.

You all thought I was a fool when I was only AMD even back when they sucked.
