If you leave a negative review on one of their products, they delete your review by saying you were claiming it was inauthentic (I made no such claims whatsoever)
Tried this three times, it doesnt matter what your review says, they take it down every time using this method

Hard to say they’re wrong without the original review. From their wording they make it sound like you questioned the authenticity.
I get they could be being manipulative there, but without the evidence it would be wrong to take sides.
After a couple of bad run-ins with Kingston warranties, I’ve learned to avoid anything tainted with their brands. Nothing screams “authentic” quite like the product being poor in either or both value and longevity.
What??? are they allowed to do that? What is the point in user reviews if a company can just delete them?

I had a review removed for some Teflon paste. They advertised that it could withstand chemicals. So I bought it and slathered it on my pipe ends and not even 10 mins into pumping I’ve got a leaking acid line. I made a 1 star review saying it could not withstand chemicals in the slightest. Next day it got removed. Why they are allowed to remove reviews is beyond me.
No…HyperX didn’t; ***Amazon*** did based on the fact the product was apparently legitimate. Companies on Amazon do not have the ability to remove reviews, only submit them for review and provide evidence.

OK it was poor quality… but you can elaborate your answer showing how and why you rate it one star, even why it doesn’t fulfill your needs to help other people to buy.

When I get a product that I would rate one or two stars.
I offer a period of mercy… asking for a replacement, get my money back, I show them why it get one star or 2 stars appreciation from me.
And after that… if I don’t get answer. I’ll show no mercy or no pitty on my review with pictures, video, comments to be sure the item won’t be bought by other people or at least make “aware” people who would buy it.
OP, what they said there was that “the product you received was AUTHENTIC” meaning that you have a right to write and display a negative review if you had a negative experience. What they did is bullshit and is creating false positivity (might not be the correct term). You should write another negative review with the date of purchase, serial number of the headset, UPC number, and anything else that identifies that you purchase the product.
Go ahead and downvote me everyone else. The picture that OP posted shows that Hyper X said themselves that their evidence shows that what OP bought was authentic, not inauthentic. They found that OP did indeed buy the product and STILL removed the negative review to prune any negativity and falsely promote that their product is perfect or damn near.

Largely it’s par for the course. This is a common business tactic. It’s no different than people who choose to not tell everyone everything about themselves. It allows people to have an experience that isn’t tainted with past knowledge. If I listened to what everyone said about a person I would’ve avoided them like the plague. Instead I found a person who was pretty cool for the time I hung out with him. If I had paid attention to all the negative reviews about a product I wouldn’t try it. I wouldn’t give it a fair shake. It’s how I wound up with my Sony headsets I love. Yet reviews and people in the past told me to stay away from Sony products. Expensive and subpar to summarize all of what I’ve read and heard.
I can understand them removing a review about an unauthentic product but they just confirmed it WAS authentic and therefore removed the review which is atrocious.
Y’all know what this guys trying to do right? This subreddit/PCMR culture is *obsessed* with finding the next thing to hate and *tear down* and like review bomb, it’s legit like clear to me that it might be the favorite thing so many people here enjoy doing instead of I dunno actually using the privileged pieces of gaming hardware we all know and playing games for fun.

HyperX (or any other vendor) can’t delete reviews. Only Amazon can.
They can however, report them if:
*”As a seller, you can report policy-violating reviews with evidence that the review—or reviews—in question are fake, abusive, or violate the policy in another way. Remember that negative reviews containing constructive feedback—even on elements of your listing like product photography—cannot be removed”*
I knoe it became a meme, but the “poor quality” was just him diagnosing the accurateness of the review removal, as the removals were always claimed as if he stated the product was not authentic…
He mentioned earlier that he tried to leave more in-depth information on the first removed reviews…

Wow this sub gets really excited to deepthroat corporations sometimes. It’s like some commenters in this thread expect a gold star for glazing HyperX and shitting on OP’s legitimate grievance.
HyperX seems to have gone to hell. I have an original of HyperX Cloud headset that is absolutely amazing; still use it to this day. However, it was finally starting to look worse for wear after nearly a decade of heavy use, so I ordered a new HyperX Cloud III headset.
Absolute garbage. Sound was terrible, build quality and comfort were terrible, etc. No where near the product that it used to be. I’d be embarrassed to put out products like that.

Hi Op unfortunately this is false Amazon are the only ones that are permitted to delete reviews the only way Hyperx can delete reviews is request Amazon to remove them . They also most likely are cracking down on on reviews that don’t include enough information or misinformation on why the product was bad . Considering that doesn’t help other buyers with their shopping experience. So therefore I suggest you contact Amazon tho I doubt that anything would happen considering the review was deleted

Amazon reviews are often extremely flawed anyway.. A lot of times I’ll be looking at a product and the reviews have pictures of something totally different and have nothing to do with the product. You really cannot trust the amazon review process. And to your point as well, yea reviews get deleted unfairly. So basically you cannot trust amazon reviews.
And now we add HyperX to the list of scummy companies… which include almost every other company on the planet.

No, Hyperx cannot remove a review. Now, if you put in there anything regarding the authenticity of the product you reviewed, which it sounds like you did, Hyperx can request Amazon to investigate and/or can show proof that it was indeed authentic and then have the review removed.
To be honest, if it was indeed authentic, then they should have it removed. Just keep your review to the crappy quality of the product and you will be fine.
Either you give us proof of your review or you write directly to Amazon and major news media outlet in the market to expose them.
