Honestly the entire Persona & Shin Megami Tensei franchises have some of the best soundtracks i’ve ever heard. I have so many tracks from the likes of Persona 3, 4 & 5, SMT 4 & 5 etc on all my personal playlists because they’re genuinely just that good.
Atlus is an absolute masterclass in how to make good game soundtracks.

Shoji Meguro is amazing. I was absolutely mesmerized from 3 onward by this series soundtrack.

The craziest part is that the vocalist on the tracks that have lyrics did not speak a lick of English at the time of recording. That was all performed through phonetic memorization.

I wish the random encounter battles had more than one song, i love the song but when it plays every single fight in a turn based game it became annoying.
