This project consists of a map of the State of Mississippi, USA, with a scale of 1:20. The positioning of biomes is entirely based on Open Street Map and Land Cover data, as done in the previously released maps, to achieve the best possible representation of coastlines, lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands in-game.
Unlike the maps released recently, this map does not contain buildings and roads due to the scale
I make those maps with a software I’ve been developing in the last months, which uses the data from various sources including OpenStreetMap and USGS to create a Minecraft World with buildings, roads and natural features based on the data

You know, when somebody does something hugely labor intensive and completely pointless and bizarre, I just love it. I say this with true unironic love.
Why the hell not! Great work, friend. It’s amazing.
Full-yet-Empty
Nicely done! A video game itself is a piece of art. But I love seeing gamers use video games as a medium for art.
