Og’s remember this one, apparently starhawk was poo… just a few weeks ago an old buddy talked about this and how much fun we had playing this back in the day, to bad it looks like the studio is gone though

Was this that RTS / 3rd person shooter game? I remember wanting to play this.
How about going back to the original Warhawk on PS1…this was awesome too so many good memories. Where are the hybrid multiplayer shooters with vehicles that aren’t Fortnite or Battlefield these days?
Great game. got my progress reset abusing the CTF trick and quit.
This and MAG were some of my most played online games. I miss the fun I had playing these.
LOVED the airplane drifting to shake off missiles!

Warhawk dueling is whack. I loved jeep launching players across the map with the jet and exploiting that stupid bug where you could fly under the archipelago map
This was probably my first true multiplayer shooter experience but my god it ate the bandwidth and ps3 updates ate the quota. Definitely was too early for australian internet of the time, and also mate the first gen PS3 overheat like a mofo during summer that it froze several times. Not sure if that’s because we got a pre-release japanese 54GB version though.
Used to be some hype for a potential remake/remaster… unfortunately, that never happened.
I remember sniping someone from across the map that was in a Warhawk and to this day me and my buddy still talk about it. I don’t know who you were but if you remember getting sniped while you were in a Warhawk it could have been me 😂
Very first game I ever played on ps3. Wish they made casual games like this today
I was all about this game in HS. Was part of a couple of the top competitive clans. I loved that there were different flight styles (pro vs original). The pro flight feature made me a huge fan of air combat games.
This was the first game I can ever remember downloading, and it blew my mind that it was even possible to download an entire AAA title without a disc.

This game was what really brought me into the online multiplayer experience. You could play for hours and hours. It was a great blend of balance that you could sometimes just pop off with if your team had a good pilot etc.
I remember running servers for this.
Got the game with the ps3.
To this day the best multiplayer experience I’ve ever had. From the rifle shootouts to the sniper battles in the islands to the tank battles and by far the most fun dogfights.
And it was four player splitscreen online. So good.
