I love the carrying handle used to lug it around to your friend’s house for LAN parties!! I had a Antec Super Lanboy, came with a carrying strap and a drawer for extra screws and tools.

Swear on my life I had the exact case in the OPs photo. I had a Pentium 4 1.6ghz with like 512mb ram and I think a GeForce 7900ks.

Take a look at Corsair’s c70 or obsidian 650d, they look awesome to me. Don’t forget antec’s Lanboy air or thermaltake’s level 10 gt, those are awesome.

Even the casing on older laptops are built like a tank. And they were wider and don’t seem as flimsy as the current ones made.
